In this time of uncertainty I would like to remind you all of what benefits the TTBF can offer our members and others in our trade who have fallen on hard times. The person can be a shop owner, a  shop assistant or anyone that is anyway related to our trade. See below more information.

Tobacco Charity helps those in need

The Tobacco Pipe Makers and Tobacco Trade Benevolent Fund are a charity which helps former employees of the Tobacco Trade who have fallen on hard times. The Tobacco Charity offers help from regular relief payments to one-off grants for household items. The Tobacco Charity also operate an interest-free loan scheme for homeowners to help cover the costs of repairs or one-off expenses.

To qualify for help, an applicant (or their partner) must have worked in the tobacco trade, which includes those who have worked in either the retail, distribution or manufacturing of Tobacco for a qualifying minimum period and meet certain financial criteria (depending on the nature of the assistance required).
